At the Pediatric Clinic, PA, our team consists of experienced, compassionate Pediatricians and Nurse Practitioners and friendly, nurturing staff members who take pride in giving our young patients the personalized pediatric care that they deserve.

We understand you have a choice of Pediatricians in the Mount Pleasant area, and we appreciate your consideration. We can assure you that you will feel confident in our ability to meet all of your expectations.

All of our Pediatricians are board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics  and have undergone rigorous academic and clinical training in pediatrics. We maintain a high level of expertise through continuing education in order to provide the most up-to-date care for the young patients we are privileged to serve.  Our Nurse Practitioners are also board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

The Pediatric Clinic, PA believes in a team approach to your child's health and well-being, so all of our doctors collaborate with parents to provide the highest level of care. Gerald A. Stagg, M.D., FAAP

Pediatrics
Dr. Stagg was the original founder of the Pediatric Clinic, P.A. He arrived in Mount Pleasant in 1981 after having served as the Chief Pediatric Resident at Louisiana State University Medical Center. He is the Chief Executive Officer and President of the Pediatric Clinic, P.A.

Joel D. Chapman, M.D. FAAP

Joel D. Chapman, MD, FAAPDr. Chapman joined Dr. Stagg as an associate in 1982. He was an original founder of the Pediatric Clinic, P.A., serving as Vice President of the association. He previously served on the School Board of Chapel Hill Independent School District and is actively involved in his church.

Dr. Bradshaw arrived in1983 after time as a medical missionary in Africa and after having worked full-time as an Emergency Department Physician in South Louisiana. He was an original founder of the Pediatric Clinic, P.A. along with Dr. Stagg and Dr. Chapman.

Michael D. Henry, M.D., FAAP

Following completion of his pediatric residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Henry joined the Pediatric Clinic, P.A. in September 2013.  A native Texan, Dr. Henry moved to Mount Pleasant with his wife and two young daughters.  He is a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant.  He is also fluent in English and Spanish.

Christopher E. Miller, D.O., FAAP
Pediatrics
Dr. Miller joined the Pediatric Clinic in 2015 after finishing his residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. He is originally from Dallas and is a class of 2007 graduate from Texas A&M University. Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his church and following his favorite sports teams.

Brandon J. Salgado, M.D., FAAP
Pediatrics

Dr. Salgado joined the Pediatric Clinic in 2015 after completing residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. Dr. Salgado attended medical school at Texas Tech University and is happy to return to Texas with his wife and three dogs. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Susan C. Droske, RN, MN, CPNP

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Sue Droske, RN, MN, CPNPSusan C. Droske joined the practice in October 2005. She has a Masters of Science in Nursing from University of Washington and is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Susan is also a professor of nursing at Texarkana College and has taught and practiced pediatric nursing for 33 years. She will provide care to children with a full range of pediatric conditions.

 

Kathy Sanders, RN, BSN, CPNP

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Kathy Sanders comes to our practice from Bossier City, Louisiana, and has 23 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Pracititioner. Ms. Sanders obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida State University in 1980. She served eight years in the United States Air Force and completed the Air Force Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program in 1988. She has practiced in a variety of settings. Most recently she worked as a civilian contractor providing medical care to military dependent children from 1988 to 2011. She is married and has a teenage daughter, Elizabeth

 

Brittany Martin, RN, PPCNP

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

A native East Texan, Brittany became a part of our practice in April 2015. Brittany graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2008 and a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2014. Also in 2014, Brittany was nationally certified as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (PPCNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed by the State of Texas. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Brittany obtained 7 years of nursing experience with 5 years of pediatric nursing experience in a hospital setting. Brittany is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, Iota Nu Chapter. Brittany enjoys serving the diverse East Texas population and practicing her Spanish with patients and their families.
